The upcoming Yamaha electric scooter will be styled like the maxi scooter, which will come with a decent sized battery pack. Apart from this, it gets a bigger windscreen upfront, a rear tire hugger attached to the swingarm and heavy fair front body panels. In terms of riding, it gets wide seats, pulled back handlebars and centre-set footboard. It gets a simple full-digital LCD instrument console that shares important information like battery status, speed, etc.

There may be an option of a swappable battery
There are many tail lights on its display. Other features expected to be part of the package include keyless ignition and multiple riding modes. The scooter gets telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers and disc brakes at the rear. Experts believe that it will get an actual range of 70-80 km on a single charge. Yamaha is likely to come with a number of replacement options and swappable battery technology on the E01. Yamaha India has plans to launch electric scooters in the future.
